AIM Conference Center
Benavidez st., behind Asian Institute of Management on Paseo de Roxas, Across Greenbelt Commercial Center, Makati City
Registration is closed
It's a 2-in-1 meeting, and we will begin with a Roundtable Discussion about the Department of Education's planned -- and very controversial -- K+12 program.
We will have none other than former CICT Commissioner, current ITAP President and member of the K+12 Steering Committee Dondi Mapa, who will be presenting an overview of the DepEd's Enhanced K+12 Basic Education Program (that's Kindergarten plus 12 years of elementary and high school). We will also have a panel of reactors to round up what is likely to be a very lively and very intense discussion. Audience participation will be encouraged.
That alone should already be enough to make you want to drop what you're doing and head on over to our gathering...
The roundtable discussion will be immediately followed by our Annual Gathering proper. (Since Dondi is a Mensa member, we're going to wrestle him to the ground and compel him to stick around for this!)
[Besides, as per our Articles, Mensa members are all legally, morally and ethically required to attend the Annual Gathering! (It's a stretch, but it's our way of coercing you to come.)]
Here's what you can expect from our Annual Gathering:
Things are happening this year, so please do show up and show your support for Mensa!
